**TriRx are seeking an additional team member to join our fantastic H&S team. Our Health and Safety Advisor will play a pivotal role in providing specialist HSE and Asbestos management advice to leadership, management and our wider people teams.**

**What you will do as a Health and Safety Advisor at TriRx**
- Take ownership of the safety critical programmes including Permit to Work, Lock Out Tag Out, Confined Spaces and Hot Works
- Design and deliver training and competency assessment programmes for your areas for responsibility
- Take ownership of our onsite asbestos management plan with a focus on continual improvement
- Furnish the business and our colleagues with specialist advice around machinery safety and compliance with PUWER
- Carry out required inspections as part of the wider objectives of the HSE team
- Embrace our safety culture and empower colleagues and contractors to be safe in all they do
- Manage, monitor and record contractor presence and safety on site

**Essential Requirements**
- NEBOSH or equivalent degree in relevant field
- BOHA P405 Management of Asbestos in Buildings

**Desirable Criteria for the role of Safe Systems of Work Co-ordinator**
- Previous experience of working at a top tier COMAH site

Originally established by Distillers Biochemicals (DCBL), this facility had its beginnings as the world's largest manufacturer of penicillin. Subsequently, it was acquired by Eli Lilly, playing a pivotal role in the advancement of Prozac and the pioneering production of synthetic human insulin. While Elanco also had ownership of the site at one point, today, TriRx proudly upholds its mission to offer a range of expanding Biotech Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) services, encompassing activities such as fermentation, spray drying, coating, and pre-mixing. With dedicated investments in both the site and our personnel, we are committed to venturing into the realm of large molecule business, including the development of monoclonal antibodies, peptides, and gene-based therapeutic products.
