**Overview of the role**:
Join our dynamic global organisation as the Group Data Officer, where you will play a pivotal role in defining and delivering strategies for data management and exploitation across the core systems that enable our business. As the Group Data Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of master data and managing the processes for data creation, deletion and change in our highly integrated systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to identify data needs and define data strategies in support of group initiatives required to drive competitive advantage.

2. Lead a nascent master data team, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the group.

3. Develop and implement comprehensive data management policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

4. Drive data integration initiatives, ensuring seamless flow of information between different systems and platforms.

5. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance data management capabilities.

6. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data infrastructure meets the evolving needs of the organisation.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Data Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data integration principles.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with relevant data management tools and technologies.
