Buyer - Hillington

Newly created role for an experienced Buyer to join a highly successful & expanding construction based organisation in a highly varied role in the Hillington area.
- End to end procurement activities
- Liaise with key internal stakeholders to prepare for finalisation of contracts for goods, services and materials in accordance with Company policy
- All aspects of supplier management, supplier development and supplier negotiation - strong knowledge and experience in the preparation and execution of supplier negotiations.
- Researching new markets, products, and manufacturing processes
- Negotiating with suppliers to agree prices, quantities, delivery schedules and exclusivity deals
- Promote best practice Procurement Policies and Procedures to stakeholders throughout the business
- Grow and deliver sourcing strategies that will maximise the value of procured services and products.
- A track record as a Buyer within a fast-moving construction related / manufacturing environment - a construction background is beneficial
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Relationship building and management skills.
- Excellent computer skills.

Status: Permanent
Rate: 35000 - 42000
