**Customer Care Executive**

**Overview**:
Our client is an established and fast-growing Destination Management company with offices in the UK and Ireland. They are looking for a Customer Care Executive for their North America and Long-Haul Markets. This role is located their Edinburgh office, with an opportunity to work hybrid.

**Benefits and pay range**:

- £27,000 - £29,000 dependent on experience. Permanent, Full Time Position.
- Mon - Fri 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Hybrid working option, excellent company benefits

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- This position is responsible for the customer services function for the English-speaking client base
- Developing relationships with overseas clients, and securing guides to each group
- Using Tourplan for client and supplier communications and proposals, with high accuracy to ensure a compliant accounting process
- Attending trade shows and quoting of ad hoc group and series business if required
- Desk based and in person sales and marketing activities across the UK, Ireland and overseas market places
- Periodic out of hours emergency phone coverage
- Cover support in other groups and department if the need arises
- Support with the supervision of any staff/trainees assigned to the area
- Assisting with environmental and responsible tourism initiatives

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Fluency in verbal and written English
- Good knowledge of the UK tourism industry
- Tourplan knowledge an advantage
- Excellent organisational skills with good attention to detail
- Excellent customer care and communication skills
- Team player able to work in a busy environment
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
