The role falls within the EMEA Asset Management business of Northern Trust and Asset Management is within the Performance and Reporting team based in the London office. The reporting team in region are responsible for ensuring the timely creation, productionand delivery of reporting to meet both Client and Fund Reporting obligations.
Working for a large global asset manager, this team also work in close collaboration with reporting teams located across the globe who leverage both offshoring and outsourcing solutions in order to meet the ever changing and growing business needs.
Major Duties
The key responsibilities of the role include:

- Complete day to day reporting activities - Creation, Validation & Distribution of Institutional Segregated Client Reports, Fund Fact Sheets, ESG Reports, Performance schedules, Solvency II and Cost & Charges
- Coordination with various internal and external teams to ensure all data is collated, checked and presented per internal SLAs in order to meet client reporting deadlines
- Work closely with Portfolio Managers, Sales and Relationship Management, RFP, Risk and Compliance, Operations and Technology teams
- Build up an extensive knowledge of various regulations eg SFDR, MIFID 2, PRIIPS to support Reporting obligations for both Clients and Products
- Ensure Client onboarding/offboarding is in line with reporting requirements
- Managing and clearing work queues in the reporting team as assigned. Timely escalation to management of any material issues or risk to deliverables during the reporting cycles especially around busy reporting cycles.
- Drive process improvement and enhancements to Client deliverables with recommendations to management for scalable standardised solutions for review and approval. Challenge the status quo.
- Ensure existing processes have the correct controls and that they are executed correctly
- Assisting in the implementation of Regulation Change and other Projects as and when needed.
- Ensure effective management information/ Key Performance Indicators/Key Risk Indicators are maintained, tracked and reported; capturing trends/issues and proposes improvements to address.
- Proven experience within Asset Management, Banking or other financial services related business in a Client Reporting, Performance Analysis, Fund Accounting or Regulatory reporting capacity
- Understanding of Client Reporting, Performance Analysis, Fund regulations, ESG, Costs & Charges and Solvency II
- Experienced in managing large data sets and a technical background is a distinct advantage along with strong Excel, PowePoint and Word skills
- Knowledge of SimCorp CORIC, Aladdin, FactSet, Eagle, Pace, MSCI, Morningstar, Sustainalytics
- Strong understanding of asset classes (Equity, Fixed income, Derivatives, ETF's, Real Estate)
- Must be pro-active, flexible, client focussed and a problem solver
- Ability to roll sleaves up, work within a fast paced, changing and time pressurised environment being prepared to put in extra hours during busy periods
