Head Chef/Kitchen Manager

Salary package £45,000-£55,000 OTE.

Plus uncapped bonus opportunity.

This is an exciting opportunity to come join our team at pergola on the wharf.

As the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager you will engage, lead and manage the team as well as managing targets and drive sales across the restaurant business.

The menu is on a seasonal rotation and you will need to demonstrate you can work to specifications and work in a busy high volume kitchen and business.

What we would love from you, if you can demonstrate:

- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- Passionate about food, loves to work to food specifications.
- Understanding of how to control the kitchen stock and place orders with suppliers.
- Lead a team of bright hard-working individuals, handle their rotas to the GMs budget.
- Controlling kitchen GP.
- Making a positive P&L report.
- Reconciling deliveries / Inventory / Ordering stock
- Controlling and directing the food preparation process.
- Fast pace volume kitchen experience.
- Positive can do attitude.
- Menu costing
- Leading all food hygiene best practices and compliance.
- Waste control monitoring stock.
