Maintenance Assistant

We’re looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team at The Colwall Park Hotel.

This is a part time position, on a temporary to permanent basis, and would suit someone who can turn their hand to all aspects of DIY and maintenance. Must have a good understanding of health and safety standards, and a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role.

The Colwall Park Hotel is a 22 bedroom hotel, restaurant, bar and events venue.

**Requirements**:

- You’ll be proactive in repairing and refurbishing items in our bedrooms and public areas
- You’ll keep on top of any decorative finishes that need touching up
- You’ll be ensuring that the electrics and plumbing are working efficiently and liaising with any external contractors as necessary.
- You’ll take pride in the hotel and keep an eye out for opportunities to improve as well as following the preventative maintenance calendar.

Finally, you’ll be an important member of our team, willing to get stuck in while showing a friendly face and helping hand to our guests and teams.

This position is based on 16-24 hours per week and flexibility to work evenings, weekends etc when required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

Pay: £24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
