Logistics Planner

_**Logistics Planner (Permanent) **_required for our Builders Merchant and Construction supplier client based in Gravesend, Kent with offices also in Dagenham Essex.

**Overview of Responsibilities**:
To assist with all of the functions of the transport and internal business compliance department ensuring that our operations and business transactions follow all relevant legal and internal rules.

**Planner** **Responsibilities**:
**Driver management - including**
- Driver inductions including 6 monthly reinduction
- Payroll setup
- Managing infringements, tacho downloads, WTD, missing mileage
- Administering toolbox talks
- Reviewing live incab footage for non-compliance]
- Booking training courses for HIAB etc
- Manage all penalty charge notices and London Lorry Control

**Vehicle Management**
- Assist the workshop managers with vehicle paperwork and Downtime claims
- Adding and removing vehicles from the fleet including, operator licence, insurance, DART, Congestion Charge, DVS permits

**Accident and Complaint Management**
- Lead any Accident investigations to keep claims experience a low as possible
- Main liaison with the insurance broker to ensure all claims are kept up to date and damage
- Handle third party complaints relating to transport

**Compliance Audits inc**:

- Manage external audits by transport consultancy
- Manage FORS audits
- Running OCRS score reports
- Assisting in DVSA/Police visits

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £35,000.00 per year
