We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as our **Production Planner **reporting into the** Planning Manager. **Based at our Gravesend Head Office.** **Joining us on a full time, permanent basis (Monday to Friday, 8.00-17.00, 40 hours), you will receive a **competitive salary**.

As our **Production Planner**, you will plan and schedule the lubricant and chemical manufacturing activities to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.

**Responsibilities as our** **Production Planner are to**:

- Create and manage the weekly/monthly production schedule for semi-finished and finished products, MRP/MPS
- Work alongside demand planners to ensure the availability of raw materials and components,
- Raise process orders
- Lean key player - ensure high OEE and Adherence to Plan is achieved Ensure high customer service levels are achieved and maintained (OTIF)
- Monitor sales daily and adjust production schedule accordingly if required
- Chair weekly planning meeting
- First line of contact and provide support to the manufacturing team
- Liaise daily with various internal departments (incl. Customer Experience, Distribution, Marketing and Sales team)
- Maintain inventory levels within set limits
- Maintain Excel-based systems
- Conduct continuous improvements and planning projects
- Support the team with daily activities

**Skills required of our Production Planner**:

- Previous experience of production planning
- Knowledge of MRP / ERP systems (SAP S4 HANA)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and capacity planning skills
- Accuracy, attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes
- Detailed-oriented; proficient in the use of computers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Proven proactive and self-starter skills; displays ownership, initiative, and drive
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and stakeholders; strong interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a team environment

**Good to have**:

- Experience in a similar industry
- Experience with PowerBi, DAX,Tableau SQL, Python
