**The role**

As the Paint Shop Team Leader, you will be responsible for the daily running of our brand-new state of the art paint facility. You will be responsible for scheduling workloads to team members ensuring exceptional quality is achieved. You will need to control consumables, Paint usage and PPE. This role is working within a fast-paced production environment, producing a wide range of finishes on various materials.

**Duties/Responsibilities**
- Look after day-to-day running of the paint facility.
- Control consumables, PPE usage.
- Schedule work to the team.
- Maintain paint stock.
- Complete all General Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance checks on all equipment.
- Maintain 5s and cleaning standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.

**Personal Specification**
- The ability to work both as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- Previous experience as a Spray Painter in a professional workshop environment.
- Experience of Surface Preparation on multiple substrates.
- Using solvent and water-based paint in various finishes.
- Operation of Air fed equipment.
- Good understanding of health and safety.
- Polishing to remove defects from vehicle paintwork.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
