Take a Seat People are recruiting for an experienced Clinical Psychologist in the Stoke on Trent area. Would you like to work in an environment where teamwork and regular CPD are the norms? Working under the direct supervision of a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist, this is an opportunity to really develop your career.

You will be working in a supportive environment where development and career progression are at the forefront of the company's ethos. Learning from senior leaders, you will have the opportunity to evolve your skills and experiences with all the support needed to develop your career. You will support clinical team working, both direct interventions and the delivery of staff training programmes. Implementing a range of psychological interventions for individuals, adjusting and refining psychological formulations drawing upon different explanatory models and maintaining a number of provisional hypotheses.

**Responsibilities**
- Assessing complex needs and designing and delivering specialist psychological treatments. Delivering high quality 1:1 assessments and treatment to patients
- Support the clinical team to develop new initiatives and ways of working
- Develop and manage groupwork programmes and innovative therapeutic approaches
- Support and develop staff training
- Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team

**Qualifications**
- HCPC registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologists
- Doctorate level in Clinical Psychology
- Experience in one or more therapeutic modalities
- Clear understanding of risk assessment/management tools and formulation
