**ABOUT THE ROLE**
As we get bigger, your objective is to ensure the global-based team can be as effective and efficient as possible. Whether it’s managing the day-to-day runnings of the studio or driving through internal projects, no day is ever the same.
You’ll manage everything to do with our London studio from how it works to how it looks, and implement the best processes to keep us running smoothly. As the main contact for our office suppliers and contractors, you’ll need to have a good handle on our internal processes and be savvy with costs. You’ll also remotely support our team in NY, LA and Singapore with any office, admin, onboarding/offboarding and technology requirements.
You’ll also spend your time supporting internal projects and proactively finding ways to support the team’s day-to-day. Patience and empathy are a must as you look to find ways to improve the team’s experience. Even when faced with challenges you’ll always maintain a positive attitude and continually strive to impact change within the business.
In the PA role, your objective is to ensure our MD can be as effective and efficient as possible. Through daily tasks such as diary management, travel arrangements, research, and administrative duties, you’ll be proactively finding ways to support his day-to-day, enabling him and the team to concentrate on the bigger picture.
Often acting as the gateway between the MD and the rest of the team, you’ll need to be on top of his schedule, offer proactive support and be able to put your foot down and make decisions when necessary.
This role is essential to the company’s effectiveness and growth and alongside day-to-day operations will be vital in championing team culture and fostering a happy, collaborative working atmosphere.
**ABOUT YOU**
More than anything, you will be a person who makes stuff happen. Exceptionally organised and super enthusiastic you’ll have experience in a coordination based or Personal Assistant role. Some people may describe you as an ‘all rounder’ and you'll be comfortable managing a range of tasks to ensure nothing is missed.
You'll have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and be comfortable managing a range of tasks to ensure nothing is missed. The projects you work on will be diverse and cross-functional, so being able to prioritise and compartmentalise is vital and attention to detail is a must.
Passionate about helping people, you'll be personable and positive, able to connect with the team and find ways to improve their experience. You won’t shy away from responsibility and even when faced with challenges you’ll always maintain a positive attitude and continually strive to impact change within the business.
Above all, you’ll be eager to take ownership of the studio operations and be keen to grow in your role within the business. At Canvas8 we’re a close-knit team where each member carries a great deal of responsibility, autonomy and opportunity to develop. As we continue to grow, we're looking for someone to help us make this exciting transition with us.
