**Cyclical Surveyor**
**Location: Oxford - Hybrid working and flexible across different patches in London. You may also be required to visit patches in Staines and Winchester.**
**Salary: £38-44,000 dependent on experience plus benefits and business mileage.**
**Contract: Permanent, Full time, 35 hours per week**

**Role Overview**
As a Surveyor/Project Manager you will develop and deliver planned maintenance projects to time, budget, resident satisfaction and quality whilst meeting all statutory and business compliance requirements.

**Some Key responsibilities**:

- Support the effective delivery and be responsible for the cost control and management of commercial aspects of the long-term repairs and planned works contract, including but not limited to managing commercial risk and opportunity, ensuring the accuracy of forecasts, KPI’s and that all commercial reporting procedures are adhered to.
- Measurement, pricing and (mini) tendering off an existing Framework
- Undertake site inspections and visits to measure, agree and certify contractor’s claims.
- Assist in the validation and authorise variations including costs, quantities and schedule of rates coding; managing the resolution of unauthorised variations and incorrect claims with contractors.
- Assist in compiling cost feasibilities, approximate estimates, specification, and schedule of rates documentation and seek pricing from external contractors and sub-contractors for maintenance and repair projects.
- Take responsibility of projects from inception to completion
- Identify areas to improve margin
- Cost management
- CVR reporting and forecasting
- Management and administration and reporting of accounts

**More about you**:

- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A*- C)
- ONC/HNC in building surveying or similar discipline
- Previous experience of working for a main contractor is desired
- Previous experience of working with NHF schedules of rates, measured term and partnering contracts
- Experience in commercial management
- Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of monthly reporting
