KaneHR is growing, and we are now seeking to recruit an HR Consultant to join our friendly and professional team. Working with us will enable you to deepen your HR knowledge through the projects and cases that you work on, and to build consulting skills.You will have the opportunity to learn from more experienced members of our team and we will support and develop you to progress your career with us.
As an HR Consultant within our team, you will be confident advising clients on a one-to-one basis. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of clients, providing pragmatic HR advice, taking into account their particular business and culture, their goals and objectives and HR legislation
- Providing expert advice on all HR related issues including complex disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Maintaining client files, data, and employee records, reporting to clients on a regular basis and highlighting the need for any interventions.
- Drafting and continually reviewing written documentation for clients to ensure legal compliance. This will include contracts of employment, policy and procedures, outcome of disciplinary and grievance letters, restructure, and redundancy documentation etc
- In collaboration with the Senior HR Consultants, providing expertise across HR disciplines including employee engagement, learning and development, talent and performance management, recruitment and selection, organisational design, and change management.
You must be able to demonstrate significant generalist HR experience, ideally gained in a client focused business partnering role, or another HR consultancy. In addition, you will:
- be CIPD qualified to level 5 or above,
- have experience of advising on and managing varied and complex disciplinary/ grievance matters and reorganisations on a regular basis, with the ability to work on these cases independently,
- be highly knowledgeable and competent in preparing and writing HR documentation, with the ability to draft bespoke documentation to an excellent standard,
- enjoy building client relationships and influencing, with experience of managing multiple, senior stakeholders,
- bring strong commercial acumen,
- take pride in going above and beyond to deliver an exceptional service, with strong attention to detail,
- enjoy working in a collaborative, supportive team.
Our office is in Fleet, Hampshire, and we will expect you to be able to spend some time each week working from the office, with the flexibility to work from home on other days once you have completed your induction period.
