Due to significant growth plans within the Birmingham area, we are seeking a Quality Advisor to support our network of nurseries. We currently have two settings within the Birmingham/Dudley area with plans of rapid expansion.

As a Quality Advisor, you must be able to inspire and motivate the teams below you and have a strong understanding of the Ofsted standards and early inspection framework. You will have a passion for enabling children to grow and develop and this will in turn drive improvements in teaching and learning across multiple sites.

This exciting role is based across all our settings across the Birmingham area, working proactively with teams on site to build and strengthen areas of teaching and learning. Flexibility in location of work is therefore critical to this role.

This role will support with helping settings to deliver the highest levels of care and education and work alongside our existing Quality team in the Southwest.

**Main Areas of Responsibility**
- To work with the nursery managers to create plans and strategies to develop and deliver the aims of the organisation.
- To work with the Head of Quality and Head of Training and Audits to discuss outcomes of site visits, auditing and reporting, using these to drive improvements in the settings.
- Support new sites and new managers to embed quickly into the company’s ethos and processes, ensuring that the site grows and develops quickly.
- Support existing sites with cover when needed (e.g. holiday or other cover)
- Input into the performance management of nursery managers to ensure they are delivering and sustaining the expected standards across all aspects of the nursery.
- To identify the expected standards in relation to welfare requirements set out in the statutory guidance.

**Key Duties/job purpose**
- Promote the continued improvement of all the nurseries.
- Help launch new nursery sites and support them to grow and develop.
- To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculums are implemented and adhered to at all times.
- To help all provisions achieve at least a **GOOD** standard when inspected by Ofsted.
- To deal with any complaints following the company’s policies and in a professional manner.

**Personal specification**
- Good communication, interpersonal, negotiation and social skills, with the ability to speak publicly to a variety of audiences.
- Experience of leading a staff team.
- Excellent knowledge of current legislation with regards to children and families.
- Ability to produce written materials for a range of readerships.
- Computer literacy skills in particular the ability to manage own word
- processing, and databases.
