We are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner (FBP) who will have responsibility for financial and accounting activities, primarily for the Surface Technology, Europe division’s multiple plants but may include other parts of the group from time to time. The FBP liaises with various stakeholders including Operational and Sales VPs, General Managers, Office Managers and Shared Service Centres. Reporting into the VP of Finance for Global ADE and ST this role will have a dotted line reporting relationship to the VP of Operations, ST EMEA. This is a senior position that requires an advanced skill level in accounting, auditing and / or finance.

**Main responsibilities**:

- The FBP uses accounting, economic and commercial skills to evaluate operating data, detect business trends and prepare financial reports that comply with group requirements and accounting principles
- The FBP will review monthly financial statements, and prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and other financial analysis as required by the business.
- The FBP will be responsible for managing working capital and help operating plants prepare and implement capital project requests
- The FBP will operate internationally, working with the Shared Services Centres and operating plants across multiple countries to ensure proper accounting entries during the closing process
- Provide accounting & analytical support for the VPs of Operations and General Managers
- Assist with monitoring and control of all costs, fixed assets, and working capital components
- Perform monthly and year end close
- Work with each GM to understand monthly results, and prepare variance analysis for management
- Additionally, they will liaise with auditors, both internal and external, to ensure proper mitigation of identified control gaps
- Perform ad hoc assignments as directed by VP of Finance, and any other tasks as assigned or dictated by position

**Qualifications, experience and skills**:

- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years plus management and/or analytical experience
- Well developed, Word processing, Power Point and Excel skills
- Written and oral French preferred but not essential
- Hyperion experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to professionally communicate with internal and external stakeholders and resolve issues in an effective and efficient manner.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to effectively prioritize assigned work to meet established deadlines and ability to manage several tasks and/ or projects simultaneously.
- Must have a continuous improvement mind-set
- Must have a rounded business management background and experience working internationally.
- Must be able to effectively present information to multiple management levels, up to Executive Level
- Dynamic, independent, self-motivated and result oriented individual
- Work Environment: Office or Hybrid working 3/2 (WFH)
- Moderate travel c.20-25%
