If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Learning Support Assistant at our specialist school in Southampton.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will have the unique responsibility of working with students aged 7-19 years, in Key Stages 2 to 5, who require additional support due to their special educational needs and disabilities.

Your previous experience, training, or qualifications in childcare, education, health & social care will enable you to provide the essential assistance and guidance needed to help these students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

In this role, you will work closely with qualified teachers and other professionals to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.

Your responsibilities will include providing one-on-one support to students, assisting with classroom activities and assessments, and helping to develop and implement individualized education plans.

Your dedication, patience, and ability to build rapport with students will be instrumental in helping them achieve their full potential.

This position offers a competitive pay rate of £75-£85 per day, reflecting the importance of your vital role in supporting these students.

Initially, the role is offered on a fixed-term contract with eventual opportunities to go permanent, allowing you to establish yourself as a valued member of our school community. Furthermore, you will join a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of these exceptional students.
