SEN Learning Support Assistant / Special Needs Assistant

Previous experience of working with a child with Special Educational Needs is desirable but not essential. Temporary Contract (Term Time Only 39 weeks) This appointment is of a temporary nature due to the identified budget provision to provide SEND support in the school to individual children. The contract is likely to last for at least one academic year and could potentially be extended. WORKING HOURS:

31.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.45am - 3.30pm, Term Time Only (39 weeks) JOB OVERVIEW We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a SEN Learning Support Assistant / Special Needs Assistant with a calm but firm approach, excellent communication skills and ability to attune to a childs emotional needs. Working as a SEN Learning Support Assistant / Special Needs Assistant you will join the team taking on a varied role where flexibility and adaptability are key. As the SEN Learning Support Assistant / Special Needs Assistant you will help to encourage pupils to have creative and enquiring minds as confident, resilient and happy learners with good mental and physical health.
