**Role Profile**

**Senior Gas Trader, London**

**Responsibilities**
- Act as an expert within a gas trading environment.
- Manage your own limits in terms of VaR and P&L under the overall desk limits
- Develop trading strategies to capture our fundamental PoV on a directional, time and locational spread basis
- Work with Analysts to further enhance our modelling / analytical capabilities
- Liaise with Senior Management re trading strategies / performance for Europe

**Requirements**:
Qualifications and Experience:

- Ideally 5 + years trading European Natural Gas
- Experience in trading the key European gas hubs
- Experience of LNG / Freight markets
- Experience working collaboratively on trading teams.
- Programming experience (preferred but not essential).
- Fluent English language skills. Another language in addition to English is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge and experience of power, emissions or coal trading (preferred but not essential).
- A passion and strong interest in weather and meteorology (preferred but not essential).
