Shift Supervisor

Alongside our existing team, you will be responsible for maintaining our high standards of both health and safety and cleanliness in and around the premises at all times, ensuring the smooth running of all scheduled activities and also ensuring that our customers’ needs are always met promptly and to as high a possible standard.

Upon completion of the required induction/training period, you will also be responsible for additional duties when the Assistant Manager and Manager are not present. This will include ensuring opening and closing processes are completed, cashing up, placing orders, staff/shift management and dealing with customer queries.

Working hours and days are to be discussed at interview but will typically be from 9:45am to 5:45pm and at least 2 to 3 days a week, including both weekdays and a minimum of one day on weekends. Additional days/hours will also be available during the school holidays.

Please note that there is scope for flexibility for the right person for potentially more (or less, if necessary) days/hours. We are understanding to our staff’s needs and their other working/family commitments, so if you feel that you have the right skills and experience but the working days/hours aren’t quite right for you then please do not let that put you off applying. We would be happy to discuss the possibility of adapting to your requirements if necessary.

Experience of leading a team of staff is preferred but not essential.

Experience of working in hospitality and/or retail is preferred but not essential.

Experience of working in a kitchen/catering is preferred but not essential.

**Salary**: £7.49-£15.63 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 40 per week
