Compassion UK is recruiting for an **Events Assistant** who will be a vital member of the Events team working to achieve successful events, projects and ambassador activity, maximising acquisitions potential.

Hours:

- 35 hours per week to be worked over a flexible working pattern

**Salary**:

- £25,500 pa (within the grade £25,500 to £30,900 pa)

About the role

As the **Events Assistant**, you are to work within the Events Team to assist in establishing, building, deepening and growing Compassion’s relationships with a portfolio of ambassadors and event organisers, to achieve regional acquisition objectives. To provide assistance and support to the Events Team in a range of activities to enable them to achieve their acquisitions targets with particular focus on the management of events.

**Responsibilities**:

- Actively maintain and promote Compassion UK’s Christian ethos and values
- Assisting with a number of identified events, special projects and ambassador activity
- Assist with the maximisation of acquisitions potential from Ambassadors and events

About you

To flourish in this role, you'll need:

- **Some experience of event management.**:

- **Core office/administrative skills.**:

- **Experience working successfully with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.**:

- **A full UK driving licence**

It would help (but isn’t essential) to have:

- An understanding of Compassion’s core programmes including the model, the message, the methods, and the metrics, by which its mission is accomplished.

Location & Benefits

This is a home-based role.

Benefits include enhanced pension scheme with 10% employer contribution, equivalent of 5 normal working weeks' annual leave a year, plus normal bank holidays, Income Protection & Group Life cover on appointment and Private Medical & Dental cover on successful completion of probation.
