We are a busy Waste Management Company based in Upton Magna, Shrewsbury looking to hire an experienced Customer Service Executive to join our busy Customer Services Team.

You will also be asked to respond promptly to customer enquiries, provide quotations and place / process orders. You must have the ability to stay calm and work well under pressure whilst maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times. You must have excellent communication skills that allow you to inform, help and advise client’s clearly and to liaise effectively at all levels.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Build and nurture relationships effectively with new and prospective clients to provide appropriate/ alternative waste management solutions
- Identify customers needs by obtaining as much accurate information as possible to enable the procurement team to obtain the best rates in the first instance
- Process enquiries promptly in line with the company’s KPI’s with attention to detail
- Accept orders and follow through with bookings ensuring all information provided is checked and relayed to the service provider
- Liaise with service providers regarding bookings, issues, eta’s
- Confirm all bookings to clients
- Take ownership and resolve queries and complaints
- Advising clients on suitable / innovative service solutions.
- Updating our bespoke CRM, keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and any complaints.
- Analysing reports to identify outstanding movements and update system
- Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary in order to resolve any service / accounting issues.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and providing professional customer support.

**You will also be required to**:

- Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
- Go the extra mile to engage clients.
- Ensure that sufficient / detailed information is obtained to allow completion of client’s request.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team.
- Good working knowledge of IT systems
- Hands-on experience with CRM software is an advantage but not essential.
- Confidence, patience, politeness, tact and diplomacy, when dealing with diverse situations.
- Listening skills, to understand and convey exactly what clients require.
- Experience in the waste management sector is highly desirable.
- Attention to detail so as to ensure that data is entered concisely and correctly in order to prevent inaccurate information being passed internally and externally.

Position is full time based on 40-hour week with a requirement of one Saturday morning in four after initial training.

Salary and Holidays will be discussed at interview stage

Please note that you will need to be able to drive as we are in a rural area and public transport is limited.
