Adecco Northumberland are currently recruiting for a Press Set Operator for our client based in Newcastle.

Adecco are currently recruiting for a Press Set Operator for our client based in Newcastle.

Our client has established a reputation for quality and service, manufacturing a vast range of machined, fabricated, welded, pressed, painted and laser cut components to customer's specification.

Due to a rapidly expanding order book and customer base, our client is looking to employ a Press Set Operator on a temporary to permanent basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working as part of a team to produce sheet metal products for a variety of industry sectors.
- Setting and operating mechanical and hydraulic power press machines.
- As a subcontractor there are a large variety of materials and components which requires setting and running to be efficient as possible, in a fast paced environment.
- In process inspection in line with quality control.

**Knowledge, Skills, Experience**:
A highly motivated and proactive time served operator who can demonstrate successful experience in a similar role.
- You must have experience as a Press setter / operator.
- Able to read and work from engineering drawings
- Ability to use measuring equipment, Vernier's and height gauges etc.
