**Job Title**: CNC Press Brake Setter/Operator

**Location**: Newcastle Upon Tyne

**Salary**: £13.00 - £14.50 per hour

**Job Type**: Full-Time, Permanent. 4-day week with overtime available.

They specialize in manufacturing a wide range of machined, fabricated, welded, pressed, painted, and laser-cut components tailored to our customers' specific requirements. Their diverse client base spans industries such as Sub-Sea, Oil & Gas Exploration, Rail, Marine, Fastenings, Furniture, Defence, and Aerospace.

**The Role & Responsibilities**:
As a valued member of their team, you will contribute to the production of sheet metal products across various industry sectors. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Setting up and operating CNC Press Brake machines.
- Efficiently working with a wide range of materials and components to meet subcontracting requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilizing a variety of machines, including Trumpf and Safan.
- Conducting in-process inspections to ensure adherence to quality control standards.

**Knowledge and Skills**:
To excel in this role, we are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual with the following qualifications:

- Proven experience as a time-served operator in a similar role.
- Proficiency in CNC Brake Press setting and operation, including programming experience.
- Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with measuring equipment such as Vernier calipers and height gauges.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Press Brake Operator (required).
