Instinctive are a specialist medical laser company seeking an experienced service department administrator to join our small and friendly team. Specialising in Ophthalmic and Aesthetic laser technology, we are looking for a confident & professional service administrator to assist us in our day to day office functions.
Based out of our new office facility in Marston Mortaine, the service administrator will support our field service engineering team in the servicing and repair of customer equipment. The role will involve calling customers to schedule routine maintenance visits, organising breakdown call outs and coordinating the engineer's diary.
Instinctive represent leading equipment manufacturers & as such, the service administrator will need to communicate with third party suppliers and partners on a daily basis to ensure the best levels of service are provided at all times. Other day to day duties will include general administration from processing sales orders, to boxing and shipping of parts and consumables to customer sites.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Answering incoming calls professionally; often as the first point of call taking reports of customer equipment issues.
- Calling existing customers to book preventative maintenance service visits.
- Coordinating engineer visits to equipment breakdowns and managing the engineer diary with the office team.
- Working with suppliers and principals to order spare parts for customer equipment.
- General administration including printing and filing of engineer job sheets, sending engineer job sheets to customers and processing maintenance agreements.
- Sales and Purchase order processing for spare parts and consumables, packing orders and booking in new deliveries.
- Assisting engineer's with hotel bookings & other travel arrangements.
**Required**:
- Must have your own transport due to office location (Marston Mortaine).
- A reasonable knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and a basic knowledge of Excel).
- A good telephone manner.
**Desirable**:
- Previous experience in a manufacturer service department is advantageous.
- A keen can-do attitude.
**Working Schedule**:
- Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm.
- Confident comminucator.
**Salary**: £22,000.00 per year
