Carriera has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Health & Safety Consultant to join a medium sized property & construction consultancy based out of our clients Oxford office. Our client predominantly operate across London and the South East and are now in the position to develop their H&S offering out of the oxford office and grow the service for the region.

This is a unique opportunity where you will join an established multi-disciplinary consultancy of construction professionals which offer building surveying, project management, cost management, civil engineering, and H&S services.

Our client work with a diverse clientele across the residential, education, healthcare, commercial, and retail sectors. This position would suit an independent H&S professional with excellent knowledge of CDM regulations and experience of working in a client facing capacity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Offer a variety of health & safety services to a diverse client base.
- Develop the H&S service offering from the Birmingham office.
- Liaise closely with members of the H&S, surveying and project management teams.
- Manage the H&S file from project start through to completion.
- Review construction phase plans.
- Maintain pre construction information.
- Attend design team and client meetings
- Provide a CDM Advisor service to clients.
- Carryout site safety inspections, investigations and site safety audits
- Building new and existing client relationships

**Requirements**:

- NEBOSH Construction or equivalent.
- Professional membership to IOSH and APS (desirable).
- Excellent knowledge and hands on experience of 2015 CDM Regulations.
- Able to work independently and on one’s own initiative.
- Have worked in the property & construction sector for the last 2 years in a H&S capacity.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
