We are currently working with a variety of Care/ Nursing homes in the Derbyshire and looking to recruit experienced, Friendly, hard-working Health care assistants to join our team and provide excellent care within these homes. Looking after residents with a range of complex care needs including Dementia. We offer competitive hourly rates, flexible working patterns and Weekly pay.

Role and Responsibilities:

- To be an integral part of the team to support with all aspects of the care role
- Assist residents with personal care (Undressing, bathing, dressing, toileting, pad changes)
- Assist residents with their meals
- Engage with the residents (Chatting, Dancing, Taking them on a walk around the grounds)
- Cleaning (Cleaning the residents’ rooms etc)
- Make sure that safe care practices are adhered to
- Using any machinal and non-mechanical aids to help the residents when moving.
- Communicate with other colleagues and senior level staff
- Maintain Confidentiality
- Update notes accordingly in care plans etc
- Must be hard working and Honest
- Must be reliable
- Must have 6 months previous experience and have current care certificate
- Must hold a valid DBS
- Driver preferred but not essential
- Be friendly and able to engage with others

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 30 weeks

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.68 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Care home: 1 year (preferred)
- Home care: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
