**Grounds Maintenance Supervisor**

**Location**: Feltham TW14 9NN

**Working Hours**: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, working hours 07:30-16:00

**Remuneration**: Competitive salary + pension, free gym membership and access to employee benefits portal

**Purpose of Role**:

- To provide effective hands on operational supervision to a team of grounds maintenance operatives
- To assist in carrying out a wide variety of skilled horticultural tasks
- To monitor health and safety within the contract
- To operate, monitor and maintain a variety of grounds maintenance machinery.

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**:
1. To work effectively as part of the grounds maintenance team, delivering key objectives through the work of the department

2. To carry out site visits and stakeholder meetings, inside and outside of working hours where required

3. Lead development of a multi skilled, professional grounds maintenance team

4. Continuously review the performance and operations of the team ensuring safe and efficient working practice at all times

5. To provide the grounds maintenance manager with updates on operations

6. To ensure that all materials and equipment are safely and securely stored and accounted for

7. To regularly carry out checks on all machinery to ensure equipment is within health and safety guidelines and manufacturers instructions and keep all equipment clean, tidy and maintained for operational use

8. To carry out daily monitoring of grounds maintenance teams, monitoring performance and efficiency

9. Take action, where required in line with Coalo management of absence policy in relation to sickness absence and matters relating to the Coalo code of conduct for all employees

10. To check and process overtime, holiday requests and sickness absence

11. To carry out site inspections on a weekly basis and complete site assessment forms

12. To carry out effective and continuous health and safety monitoring across the contract.

13. To identify any additional training needs to all operational staff

14. To work closely with the grounds maintenance manager to drive and implement service improvement initiatives

15. To hold regular team briefs including tool box talks
