**Support Team Member/Production Operative**

GDS Engineering is a specialist Motorsport Pit Lane Walling systems manufacturer. We are based in Brackley and together with our other services work with the top global motorsport teams including those in Formula 1. We are currently looking to expand our small team and take on a new colleague. We can offer full hands-on training and development. We are looking for someone who can be flexible and adapt to the many different aspects of the job.

**Position Overview (full-time, hybrid position)**

As a **SUPPORT TEAM MEMBER, **you will be involved in the assembling, dismantling, and overviewing of the products in our primary market of international motorsport as well as a range of other sectors such as (but not limited to) events, hospitality, construction and healthcare, materials, components, and machinery. This aspect of the job does require travelling outside of the United Kingdom.

As a **PRODUCTION OPERATIVE, **you will be involved in the production of our product within the factory. This role is taken during any time where the individual is not at an event acting as a support team member. Physical strength and stamina are encouraged in order to provide a safe and operational production line.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
The **SUPPORT TEAM MEMBER** is primarily responsible for:

- The installation, assembling and dismantling of the company’s products at any international events when clients request the Support Team.
- The supervision and overview of the products at any event where needed.
- Day security while at events that involves but is not limited to cleaning the event space, cleaning the company’s products, assisting our clients at the event with any tasks that are necessary.
- Night security while at events that involves but is not limited to cleaning the event space, cleaning the company’s products, monitoring the client’s IT systems, enabling generators when need be.
- Representing the company in the best light when travelling and attending any clients’ events.
- Being able to adapt to the environments in which events are held and altering behaviour to suit the environment.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of our clients, their business and their guests together with any sensitive information you may be exposed to, with the inclusion of restricting your personal social media usage.

The **PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN** is primarily responsible for:

- The setting up, monitoring and maintenance of machinery and equipment that is used in the production line.
- Transforming raw materials into products through use of machinery with the operation of machines.
- Making minor repairs, replacing parts, and testing the finished products for compliance according to the standards of the company.
- Potentially having to operate computer-controlled machinery.
- Maintaining a clean production area with strict reference to following the health and safety guidelines of the production line.
- Ensure that production standards are met, perform a full clearance of the products, and prepare them for delivery and/or transportation.
- Effectively diagnosing and treating machinery malfunctions as well as adjust equipment to ensure it is operating at maximum efficiency.

**Beneficial but not required**:

- Forklift license
- HGV license
- Driver’s license (required)

**Requirements**:

- An ability to work both as part of a team and independently
- Be eager to learn all procedures of the job
- Be willing to put in overtime when needed
- Punctual and reliable
- A good sense of humour is also essential
