- Senior Secretary

**About Our Client**:
A well established based in Leeds City Centre.
- Responsible for providing professional advice on corporate governance to ensure the legal, regulatory and best practice obligations of the Group and its subsidiaries are met.
- Develop and maintain Board and Society corporate governance processes as required to ensure the Society remains compliant with legal requirements and external benchmarks.
- Produce Board and Board Committee papers in relation to corporate governance processes and external corporate governance developments.
- Develop and maintain key Board constitutional documents including the Board Schedule of Matters Reserved, Terms of Reference and other similar documentation to ensure it meets best practice and any changes in legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare the Corporate Governance Reports and Board Governance and Nominations Committee Reports for the Annual Report and Accounts, support year end process and liaise with other stakeholders as required.
- Work with the Group Secretary to agree the annual requirements for the evaluation of the
- Act as Company Secretary and provide support to subsidiary boards as required and, in relation to Accord Mortgages Ltd, provide support and advice to the Chair and Directors in relation to governance requirements, drafting relevant reports and managing the annual effectiveness review process.
- Oversee the statutory compliance of the Society's subsidiary entities and ensuring that statutory filings are accurate and submitted on a timely basis.
- Develop and provide supervisory support to junior members of the team.
