**About Us**

SFiCE Social Café is held at SFiCE House, 75a Raleigh Street NG7 4DL. The main purpose of the Café is to feed vulnerable people and support their health and wellbeing. We run a social café three times a week, ESOL classes and a food and clothing bank.

Our passion is to improve the health and wellbeing of not only our service users but also the wider community. SFiCE Foundation offers support and advice to individuals who are going through mild to severe disadvantages, either due to isolation, health issues or any other causes. We undertake basic health checks to our service users, collate the assessment of the needs and with their consent work through their issues. We do not offer any diagnosis or prescribe/suggest any medication, we just work in an advisory/supporting role. We collate information about other agencies to whom we can signpost the service users if the issues are complex. **Roles and Responsibilities**

The Wellbeing Worker will be expected to undertake the health checks, complete the assessment of their needs and work issues with them.

The Wellbeing Worker/s will be required to give advice and support on physical and mental health issues. It is envisioned that a support group will be set up, and run on a weekly basis, therefore experience of facilitating group work is essential.

The Wellbeing Worker/s will be responsible for promoting the service to local organizations and compiling a database of appropriate agencies who can deal with our referrals.

At reasonable intervals we want to hold seminars on important health issues to provide information and raise awareness, the Wellbeing Worker will be responsible for leading this activity.

**Essential**
- Knowledge and practical experience of working with adults who have physical and mental health issues.
- Experience of making assessments is paramount and using judgment to signpost to other agencies when necessary.
- Be non-judgmental and empathetic.
- Be a good team worker with excellent communication skills, oral and written.
- Keeping accurate and concise records and reports is essential.
- Monitor and evaluate all cases under GDPR regulations.
- Excellent time keeping, whilst managing own diary

**Desirable**

Hold a full driving license and access to a vehicle.
