**General Manager | Durham | up to £32,000 plus bonus and benefits**

Zachary Daniels Retail Recruitment are currently recruiting for a **Store Manager** for an ambitious retailer who are expanding, opening new stores and driving forward. We are looking for a **Store Manager** that can have full autonomy over buying, working with suppliers, store layout, staff development and recruitment. The role of a Store Manager will develop to become a General Manager/Area Manager who will be responsible for allaspects of their retail operation.

This role will be to manage one store, but, then grow to manage more stores over the coming months and years.

You will have experience of working with suppliers, buying from wholesalers so experience or a passion for this is required.

**As a Store Manager, your responsibilities will include the following**:

- Driving customer service standards in your store.
- Increase sales in store and ensuring site profitability.
- Training, coaching and developing your team.
- Maintain company and brand standards are maintained as well as adhering to H&S guidelines.
- Achieving store and company KPI's.
- Profit protection and stock management
- Keeping up with current trends, including competitor analysis.

In reward for your hard work, you will receive a **basic salary up to £32,000** depending on experience, plus bonuses, which is reviewed throughout your career. A realistic earning potential of over £35k is there for you to achieve with hardwork and success. Please note, due to locations and working hours you will need your own transport. This is essential.
