The Group Head of IT Operations & Services is a brand new role within our business. Reporting into the CIO, with direct access to the SLT across our business, the main objective for this role is to develop and manage a Group internal IT Service desk. You will be tasked with the ongoing development, management and continues improvement, defining relevant processes and operational controls that tie in with confidentiality, integrity, GDPR and the availability of information assets. Management of 3rd party supplier relationships (in relation to service delivery and SLA adherence) whilst managing our Frontline IT Support Service.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- IT Service Delivery
- Establishing, configuring and providing adoption assurance for service tooling
- Oversight and co-ordination of incidents and requests on behalf of each subsidiary, co-ordinating internal and external engineering effort
- Delivery of Key IT Processes, in line with ISO27001 and ITIL, including:

- Incident and Major Incident
- Change Control
- Access Control
- Disaster Recover definition, monitoring and testing
- Capacity management
- Vulnerability Management
- Asset Management and SAM
- Knowledge Management
- Chairs the Group Change Authorisation Board
- Liaises with Group and subsidiary compliance teams to enable ongoing review of controls
- Works with the Director of Group IT Infrastructure to deliver the group IT Risk Treatment Plan
- Manages external IT service providers and their performance in line with the Group Supplier policy

**Reporting Relationships & Management**:

- Builds relationships and provides service reporting to senior leaderships within OpCos & Group
- Works closely with third party partners, establishing effective partnerships and well defined ways of working
- Manages the IT Service Desk and first line support team

**Experience Required**:

- At least 5 years of managing an IT Operation or IT Service Desk
- Experience of working in a multi subsidiary, ideally multi-Country / location business
- Preferably, demonstrable experience of building an IT service or operations function from the ground up
- Someone who is comfortable working in an ever changing, dynamic business environment
- Degree or equivalent
- ITIL V4 Foundation
- Experience of working in a Cyber Essentials+ or ISO27001 certified environment
