**Environmental Consultant**

Cala Consulting is seeking an Environmental Consultant to work alongside a diverse portfolio of clients across the UK, Ireland and beyond.

**Role Overview**:
As an Environmental Consultant, your role will be multifaceted, involving collaboration with clients to support both new and existing service lines. You will have the opportunity to engage with clients on and off-site, providing valuable insights and solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- _ISO Standards Expertise:_ Implement and maintain ISO standards within our clients' businesses, ensuring they meet the standards.
- _Carbon Footprint Management:_ Calculate carbon footprints and develop comprehensive carbon management plans to reduce environmental impact.
- _ESG Frameworks and Sustainability_: Assist clients in enhancing their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) frameworks, driving sustainability projects that make a meaningful difference.
- _ISO Standards Compliance_: Perform gap analyses to ensure clients align with the requirements of applicable ISO standards, helping them develop robust management systems.
- _Internal Auditing:_ Conduct internal audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with environmental standards.
- _Client Engagement:_ Promote services to both existing and prospective clients, fostering strong relationships and trust.
- _Project Management:_ Lead consultancy projects, ensuring compliance.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- ISO Knowledge: Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 is essential, with additional familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ESG principles being highly desirable.
- Carbon Footprint Expertise: Proven track record in calculating carbon footprints, showcasing your commitment to carbon reduction efforts.
- Communication: Exceptional report writing and communication skills to effectively convey environmental recommendations and insights to clients.
- Educational Background: A third-level qualification in environmental or sustainability-related fields is preferable. However, we value experience and competence equally.
- Project Management: Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet deadlines and objectives.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
