**Job brief**

We are looking for a responsible Quality Control Officer to check the quality of all outgoing material and products as well as packing procedures. You will be the final line checker to ensure all outgoing products are correctly packed and in good order to be received by the consumer and will be the leading advocate of quality within our business.

The goal is to ensure that our products are made of high quality well finished materials packed to the companies exacting standards. That way our customers will enjoy high-quality merchandise so that we can achieve long-term success.

**Responsibilities**
- Read instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies
- Quality check raw materials with respect to quality standards and record any issues found with individual performance
- Check all components are present and correct before allowing any products to leave the warehouse
- Maintain records of any issues found and escalate to the Fulfilment Manager and Warehouse Supervisor, by various metrics such as number of defective products, missing items etc per day
- Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards
- Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained and discard any that doesn’t meet requirements
- Prepare and submit reports to the Fulfilment Manager and Warehouse Supervisor

**Requirements and skills**
- Proven experience as quality offcier or relevant role
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems
- Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
- Working knowledge of MS Office

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: From £10.50 per hour
