**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**

To aid and facilitate administrative duties for all Plant and Logistics Operations.

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To assist with daily transport and driver compliance
- Liaise with members of the Transport team and problem-solving issues as they arise
- Maintain and update driver compliance and training records, ensuring time sensitive training and paperwork is completed, returned and filed on time
- Use various systems and feedback from managers to assist with monthly reporting on vehicle/driver availability and driver performance
- Assist with audit material for upholding company accreditations
- Work with the transport team to appeal and complete any fines and charges issued to the company
- Receiving, sorting, and storing paperwork in line with GDPR

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated and energetic
- A can-do attitude
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Flexible approach to work
- Good time management skills and ability to multitask
- Good judgement
- IT literate
- Highly motivated and capable or working without supervision
- Be able to manage their own workload and schedule their time accordingly
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff, at all levels, and third parties
- Proactive and able to use initiative
- Confident with strong decision-making skills
- Transport background preferred but not essential
- Manager Transport CPC qualification but not essential
- Excellent organisation and communications skills
- Works well within a team but also exceeds in lone working
