**About The Role**:
Bell is seeking a dedicated and responsible Residential Assistant to join our Cambridge team, living onsite in our busy and vibrant student accommodation. As a Residential Assistant you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our international student residents, aged 18 and over.

The Residential Assistant will ensure the residence remains a pleasant place to live and assist students with check in and check out. You will be required to enforce rules when necessary, fostering a respectful and harmonious living environment that upholds Bell standards.

The working hours are up to 20 hours per week, working 5 days per week to include 3 hours 9pm - midnight on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and 8 hours on a Sunday. This means the post could easily be combined with other day time work, should you wish.

This is a live-in post and comes with the benefit of free accommodation and utility bills, set in acres of beautiful private school grounds in the south of Cambridge.

Other responsibilities will include:

- Welcome students and conduct a brief induction to include house rules, expectations around cleanliness and noise, and fire evacuation procedures.
- Deal with students’ queries and provide local information as required.
- Act as a point of liaison for Bell staff, students and (occasionally) their parents.
- Help ensure the welfare, safety and security of students.
- Make sure the rules are adhered to and that the residence remains a calm and relaxing place for all its guests.
- Report any incidents or concerns to the Bell Cambridge team.
- Suggest ways that things can be improved and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist in the event of any fire or other emergency evacuation.
