Admin Assistant based in Huntingdon - Cambridgeshire
Full Time - Perm Role - start ASAP
Our client who is based in Huntingdon - Cambridgeshire is looking for a new member to join their small dynamic team.
**Tasks**:
- Provide administrative support to sales including loading of customer orders and maintenance of accounts system customer database.
- Provide 1st line accounting support to customers and suppliers, including being 1st line telephone answerer, query answering and supplier invoice reconciliation.
- Providing daily link between production and sales team
- Agreeing shipment methods and lead times for customer orders.
- Administration of scheduling of piece part requirements for production and company wide stationary and other daily administrative purchasing requirements.
- Preparation of lunches and teas.
**Knowledge**:
- Standard IT skills, to include Microsoft office, Internet and modern office equipment.
- Familiar with basic business accounting.
**Skills/attributes**:
- Effective team member and ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to prioritise and manage work.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Flexible approach to work. Able to manage workload, depending on varying needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Fluent in English, other languages may be an advantage
- Basic Numeracy.
- Operate in a detailed and accurate manner
