Car Hire Representative

General duties and responsibilities include the following:
Meeting and greeting customers at the collection locations.
Inspecting the vehicles on customer collection and on return for damage while the customer is present.
Going through important paperwork with the customer, doing document checks for insurance as well as payment processing.
Cleaning the vehicles inside and out.
Topping up oil and water levels as required.
Driving vehicles all over Cornwall to our customer collection locations.
Finding and delivering to customers home address, including in the dark.

Some days will be spent entirely at one location, cleaning, meeting, greeting customers and hiring out vehicles. Other days may be more driving. Most days will be a mixture of some travelling and cleaning, meeting, greeting etc.

**Requirements**:
Applicants must have been driving for at least 5 years with no more than 3 points on their license, for insurance purposes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: £13.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newquay, Cornwall: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Driving: 5 years (required)
