As a Sales Assistant in the telecommunications industry, your primary responsibility will be to support the Sales Manager in overseeing a residential territory and managing a customer base. You will play a crucial role in acquiring new customers, conducting sales transactions, and maintaining customer accounts. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be key in providing exceptional customer service and fostering strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Acquisition: Actively seek out and acquire new customers within the designated residential territory

Sales Support: Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed targets. Provide support in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations for potential customers.

Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Serve as a point of contact for inquiries, concerns, and requests, resolving issues promptly and effectively.

Account Management: Manage customer accounts by tracking sales activities. Provide accurate and up-to-date account information to internal teams as required.

Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, including sales activities, pipeline updates, and customer feedback. Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's products and services, staying up-to-date with telecommunications industry trends and competitors. Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and pricing to customers.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, technical support, and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive customer satisfaction.

Training and Support: Assist in training new sales team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices. Share expertise and provide guidance to team members as needed.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is a plus).
- Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships with customers.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficient in using CRM software, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other sales-related tools.
- Knowledge of telecommunications products, services, and industry trends.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to travel within the assigned territory as needed.

Pay: £550.00-£750.00 per week
