We are looking for experienced and motivated staff to join us within our Community Eating Disorder Services for children & young people. We have recruited a range of professionals to create a dynamic multi-disciplinary team that provides a specialist service to children, young people and families. This will enhance existing provision within our community CAMHS Services serving our boroughs of Bury, Oldham, Heywood Middleton & Rochdale in the North and Stockport, Tameside & Glossop in the South of the Trust. CAMHS Services have been rated as Good at the most recent CQC inspection.

The post holder will be a member of the multi-disciplinary Community Eating Disorder Service for children and young people within the CAMHS Directorate and is responsible for developing and leading this specific pathway in conjunction with the Clinical Lead. The post holder will provide mental health assessment, including assessment of eating disorder and offer a wide range of psycho-therapeutic evidenced based interventions for children, young people and families, supported by clinical outcome measures.

The post holder will also provide professional clinical supervision and support the psychological assessment and therapy provided by other practitioners, who provide psychologically based care and treatment to children and young people with eating disorder and contribute to the leadership of the service under the direction of the Operational Manager & Clinical Lead.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To provide high quality eating disorder assessment, risk assessment, formulation and interventions, evaluating plans as required.
- To exercise autonomous professional responsibility in the management of a case load
- To provide liaison / specialist consultation & training as required across the boroughs
- To engage in/deliver managerial and clinical supervision
- To work as a co-therapist where appropriate
- To educate & involve family members & others in treatment as necessary
- To take part in the CED-CYP emergency duty rota as required.
- Ensure collection of relevant information, data & outcome measures
- To participate in the development of training programmes & attend relevant training in line with identified professional objectives
- To maintain own awareness of current developments within eating disorders
- Ensure the maintenance of standards of practice according to the employer / professional bodies
- Ensure clear professional objectives are identified, discussed and reviewed as part of continuing professional development (CPD) / IPDR.
- Participate in service improvement
- Maintain a current professional portfolio
