We’re looking for a capacity planner to join us and support in optimising the throughput of our logistics network, ensuring we can deliver our stock to stores and continue to provide a fantastic service for our members and customers. As the UK’s number one convenience retailer, it’s important that we have the right products in the right stores at the right time, and you’ll be key to making sure we can provide our members and customers with the products they love, seamlessly and with no interruption.

In this role, you’ll be key to the relationship between supply chain and logistics, responsible for analysing, planning, and managing forecast at a high level, and getting the best out of our depots. We’ll look to you to work with partners across supply chain and logistics to make sure our peak trading periods are planned, risk to availability and logistics efficiency is mitigated, and any changes to order volumes are planned and delivered effectively. **What you’ll do**

- work closely with partners across supply chain and logistics to effectively plan for peak periods, supporting network efficiency, and making sure projected volumes can be delivered
- through effective volume management, make sure that we balance the competing demands of availability, waste, sales, and logistics efficiencies
- understand the accuracy of forecast at a depot level and feedback the impacts and mitigations of inaccuracies to depot pick volumes
- feedback on the output of forecasts reviews to our demand planners and supply chain systems analysts to ensure the root causes of forecast issues are mitigated and resolved
- monitor, mitigate, and manage activity surrounding depot inbound and pick capacity
- lead the weekly call with all the depot leads

**This role would suit people who have**
- excellent analytical skills, with an advanced working knowledge of Excel
- experience of working with large and complex data sets
- experience conducting trend and root cause analysis

- good problem-solving skills, and logical thinking
- excellent influencing and relationship management skills
- the ability to work to deadlines and can be reactive to changes in the environment
