We configure all modules within the Cloud and deliver remote updates quickly and easily; users can access AeroCloud’s software via a web interface, removing the need to access a local network. Airports can depend on our cloud-hosted platform’s security, fast processing speeds and scalability.

**Summary of Role**
The Global Head of Bids will assemble and manage a bid team that has the skills to prepare and submit winning bids, whilst taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process. Recruiting and managing a Bid team based in different geographical locations and territories.
Responsibilities include the introduction and implementation of all necessary bid procedures, governance, and processes. This is a highly internally networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. It requires strong people management and commercial skills.
Working with the C-suite and senior leadership team, operating at a senior level providing leadership around winning bid strategies, the role has a direct commercial impact and is a key component to winning business.
**Ownership and Impact**
- Own, manage, evolve and develop the end-to-end bid process in line with industry best practice
- Own the insight and intel into competitor bid processes through the RFI outputs in the US and associated outputs across other markets
- Responsible for the ongoing education of the AeroCloud Head of Department (HoD) peer group on what a winning bid strategy looks like
- Manage virtual bid teams and inputs from key stakeholders, typically engaging with sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and project management / delivery
- Work with the Sales lead to develop a clear win strategy for each bid and ensure win themes are clear and compelling
- Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues
- Oversee and review the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all products / services are included in the final price to the customer
- Risk tracking and management throughout the bid process
- Contributing to the written proposal - both in terms of content and presentation (such as providing guidance around the executive summary)
- Ownership of setting and delivery of key KPIs such as ave response time and win rate
- Manage the bid budget and monitor and report on overall performance against KPIs
- Ensure timescales are achieved at each step of the bid process, including all internal governance, while taking the initiative in setting realistic deadlines
- Ensure compliance with Bid processes across the bid team itself and the commercial teams, having responsibility for adherence to all key stages and to provide coaching cross functionally where adherence isn't met
- Ensure on-time submission of compliant and commercially sound bids
- Coordinate and plan all client presentations required as part of the bid submission
- Drive continuous improvement, through post-bid reviews, both internally and with customers
- Building and scaling the AeroCloud Bid function, managing Bid Managers based in the USA and Europe
The duties and responsibilities of the role may vary and change depending on the AeroCloud business needs.
**What are we looking for?**
Proven ability with 5+ years experience in delivering winning SaaS product and hardware product opportunities. Winning subscription based contract agreements.
Must be APMP qualified and have experience of working with Bid and RFP software, preferably RFPIO and of working with CRM preferably Hubspot.
Proven team leadership skills in office-based and virtual work environments. Must be an excellent communicator and comfortable working at C-suite / Director Level with both internal and external stakeholders.
Must have experience operating on a global stage, managing Bid Managers responding to bids in different countries.
Proven experience of continuous and process improvement with a strong commercial background and experience of risk management.
