**Monday - Friday, 08:45 - 17:30**
**(including on call duties 1 in 3 evenings a week and 1 in 3 weekends)**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Care Assistant to join the team at our Cambridge branch. They will be on board with the brand values and the ‘We Do Care’ Availl ethos. We are looking for a great communicator with an excellent telephone manner who is also confident working on a computer.

The role of Senior Care Assistant at Availl is to ensure our clients are offered the most personalised and high quality care. As a Senior Care Assistant you will be at the forefront of connecting our carers and clients with the ability to really make someone’s day, which is at the heart of what we do.

**Our** **Senior Care Assistant is responsible for**:

- Completing and implementing clients’ care plans including risk assessments.
- Generating monthly MAR charts as per the instructions of the GP and medication regime.
- Making referrals to other healthcare professionals for further assessment or intervention.
- Completing carer’s supervisions, client reviews and amending changes to care plans.
- Maintaining regular telephone contact with current and aged clients and covering shifts during the on-call service, and to build long lasting relationships.
- Confident with business development.
- Receiving staffing requests from local care managers and care establishments and allocating suitably skilled care staff to the shifts.
- Carry out sales calls to introduce our services to Clients who don’t currently use our services.
- Carrying out general office duties.
- Distributing company information to hospitals, surgeries, and other healthcare establishments.
- Input all data and confirmed bookings onto our in-house computer system.
- To carry out care if ever an emergency arose in our domiciliary service.

**Senior Care Assistant Requirements**:

- Must have at least 2-year experience in the care sector.
- Full clean UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
