Are you looking for your first or next Consultant role in Endoscopy?

Could you see yourself working for a trust on the outskirts of North London & into Essex?

We are currently looking for a Substantive or a Fixed Term Locum Consultant in Endoscopy to join one of the largest acute trusts in the Country with a workforce of 7,500 people. You will be based primarily at one site, but you may need to cover the hospitals alternative site.

Your day-to-day role will see you working in the Endoscopy inpatient and outpatient service, supervising Junior Doctors, general Gastroenterology patients & be willing to be flexible to cover both sites of the hospital as needed.

will be independent in diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy, sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy and will have to engage in Upper and lower GI clinics and FDS pathways. The successful applicant will hold accreditation in Gastroenterology, Hepatology or Surgery, although applicants within 6 months of gaining CCT will also be considered. Sub-specialty interests such as advanced endoscopy, GI physiology, nutrition, interest in adolescent GI and GI cancer are not essential but will certainly be considered.

Previous experience in Upper GI Bleeds is Essential.

This service is JAG Accredited & is one of the only services in London with an ERCP Spyglass.

You will need to have:

- GMC Registration with a Licence to practice
- Substantial Endoscopy experience
- MRCP or FRCS would be advantageous
