Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Business Partner - North West Region

**Location**: Home based with travel to sites across North West region

**Contract**: Permanent

**Hours**: 37.5 hours

**Salary**: Competitive salary + company car or car allowance + benefits

Are you looking for a HSE role with plenty of scope for further learning and development across our large and diverse business network? If so, you could be a great fit for our Health, Safety & Environment Business Partner role covering our North West Region You’ll be responsible for multi sites across this part of the country and will work very closely with management teams in helping create a positive safety culture where colleagues understand the importance of health and safety, and exhibit positive safety behaviours.

You will work seamlessly with our friendly, supportive senior stakeholders by providing your professional services, advice and excellence in health safety & environment (HSE) matters. While ensuring legal and industry compliance throughout all your locations and business activities.

What will you do?

First and foremost you’ll be a champion for HSE awareness and culture across your sites
You’ll maintain an ongoing awareness of legislation, supporting and advising colleagues
Providing support and advice as required on all HSE related issues
Analyse incident data to identify causes, trends and safe controls where appropriate
Carry out site visits, inspections and audits to monitor compliance and support continuous improvements
Ability to prepare detailed and professional reports in a timely manner
Supporting in the implementation of audit findings and monitors compliance
Carrying out HSE training as and when required
Conducting accident investigations and producing reports which identify causes and actions to prevent reoccurrence
Organising and attending HSE committee meetings with stakeholders

About You

Primarily you will have at least 2 years experience of working within a HSE role and be Nebosh general certificate qualified or similar
You’ll be committed to your further personal development and training to support and improve knowledge
A team player who works well against timescales and can deal with issues confidently
You’ll take a sensible and practical approach to issues and problem solving
A great communicator who can build and develop relationships at all levels
