You'll be joining a team of individuals working on a broad range of network and security infrastructure. You'll be able to learn a huge amount from these individuals and they're a particularly supportive team, many of whom have been with the business morethan 5 years (there are a couple of newbies so you won't be the only new member of the team).

This is a support role with occasional project work and, as you would expect, issues arising on networks are often P1 incidents which require swift resolution. You'll receive best in class training, the business will put you through relevant vendor certificationsand are very much able to support future growth with routes into Network Implementation / Delivery, Network Design and Architecture, or even Cyber Security / SOC focused roles.

**What you'll do**:

- Supporting and managing a diverse customer base of businesses.
- Assist with the management and configuration of various and often complex Networking Environments.
- Working with a wide range of technologies including Routing and Switching, Network Security, Wireless, Data Centre, Digital & Cloud.
- Working to agreed SLA's to deliver timely resolutions with a high level of customer service.
- Major Incident, Problem and Change Management, investigating problems and providing root cause analysis.
- Assessing and sometimes owning changes to customer environments.
- Designing / suggesting changes for service improvement.

**What you'll need**:

- An understanding and interest in LAN and WAN networking technologies; Routing / Switching, Protocols, Firewalling, Load Balancing, Cyber Security etc.
- CCNA Certified
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience in supporting a range of firewalls would also be a benefit, although again, is not a requirement. (Cisco ASA's, Fortigate, Meraki etc.)

**Hybrid working (2-3 days per week required in their offices in Chester)**

**Paying up to 35k, depending on experience.
