Join our field sales team, selling our organic toiletries to the Scottish hotel industry

**About us**

The Highland Soap Company handmakes skincare products with an emphasis on organic, wild-harvested and natural ingredients in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.

We make a range of products, from bars of organic soap and bottles of bubble bath to shampoos, body washes, conditioners and more. We make full-sized bottles and 5L refills, not miniatures.

We supply about 5000 bedrooms worth of hospitality businesses across Scotland including groups like Crerar Hotels and Perle Hotels as well as a range of top country house hotels, B&Bs and guest houses. We also supply restaurants and events spaces.

In addition to our own six retail stores, we partner with high street retailers, museums, health food shops and distillery gift shops looking for information about stocking our product range.

We employ 75 people, are owned by management and are growing strongly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop your own sales leads and managing your own calendar
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing hospitality clients
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers in person and on the phone
- Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Achieve sales targets and objectives
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
- Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts

**Requirements**:

- Based in Scotland and eligible to work in the UK
- Proven experience in field sales, or a related role, in the Scottish hospitality industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in a CRM software
- Ability to analyse market trends and customer data to drive sales strategies
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel in Scotland and to stay away from home 4 or so nights a month
- Willing to attend trade shows on request

**Pay: £30k-£40k pro-rata depending on experience + performance related bonuses**

- Yearly Performance bonus based on total hospitality revenue growth

**Experience**:

- B2B sales: 3 years (required)
- Experience selling to the Scottish Hospitality market

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: On the road and from home
