Newstaff are currently looking for an **Experienced Production Processor** for a busy Company based in Milton Keynes - Immediate Start after Interview

**Responsibilities**:
As a Production Processor you will be responsible for preparing and processing steel to feed into the In-House Welder/Fabricator.It is essential to be Health & Safety conscious and ensure adherence to manual handling and COSHH regulations
- Manage and control workflow for all fabrication items in the company’s product range
- Accurate record keeping of materials used internally to ensure mínimal disruption to fabrication and mitigation of stock losses
- Coordination of material from different areas of the warehouse
- Prioritisation of workload based on demand

Work Examples:

- Using manufacturing processes and machinery e.g.: cutting, grinding & drilling steel ready preparing for the welder/fabricator
- Altering existing stock e.g.: punching and shearing materials using heavy duty machinery to fit customer needs
- Feedback any problems encountered to Line Manager concise details and potential solutions to improve fabrication processes
- Completing task as efficiently as possible to reduce waste and downtime
- Working closely with the Welder/Fabricator, Design & Production Manager and Engineers
- Be familiar with daily production schedule and as a team prepare machinery, complete checks, and ensure materials are ready to use
- Essential you can work in a small team, as well as show own initiative
- Counterbalance experience would be an advantage

Details:

- Monday to Friday (occasion Saturdays during busy periods)
- Hours: 0830-17:00
- Salary: £22,500-£25,000 dependant on experience

(Hourly rate on Agency: £10.81 ph - £12.01 ph)
