**DESCRIPTION OF ROLE**

We are looking for a passionate Fabrication Quality Advisor (onsite in Turkey) to join our team on a contract basis, for anticipated duration of 12-24 months.

During pre-award period, the role will be office based between Sutton and Istanbul: to support the project team with clarifications on quality requirements, review of bidders’ offers and sub-contractor/supplier auditing.

From award date, the Fabrication Quality Advisor will be based at sub-contractor fabrication yard:

- Managing the resources to perform all QA and QC activities on behalf of Subsea7, including but not limited to, inspections, verifications, auditing, testing, qualifications and subsequent rectifications as required. This includes day-to-day management of quality inspectors.
- Monitoring and reporting the progress of Quality activities and identifying any potential impacts to overall delivery.
- Attending meetings with sub-contractors to agree quality assurance, quality control and verification activities relevant to their scope of supply.
- Ensuring that sub-contractor quality plans provide adequate assurance that project quality requirements will be met.
- Ensuring Non-Conformances (NCRs) and Supplier Performance Issues (SPIs) are appropriately investigated and root causes identified and agreed. Ensure that suitable and sufficient actions to prevent recurrence (corrective action) are identified and agreed.
- Review and management of as-built documentation compilation
- Comply with the Project Quality Plan and report to the Project Quality Manager.

**KEY QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE**
- Proven Quality Lead engineer experienced in providing quality responsibilities on large fabrication scopes. Previous experience for supervision of quality resources (advisors and inspectors) to ensure inspection and testing activities are performed in accordance with all applicable requirements.
- Previous experience inspection of welding / NDT / Coating required.
- Qualified ISO 9001:2015 auditor.
